Earl Ash Joins The Goodfriend Group

The Goodfriend Group has added a new member to its team, Earl Ash, who takes on the position of Senior Director of Public Policy and Government Relations, specializing in telecommunications, technology, and media.

Prior to joining the Goodfriend Group, Earl worked for Rep. Yvette D. Clarke (NY-09), managing key elements of the Energy & Commerce Committee portfolio, and most recently served as Legislative Assistant for Rep. Lisa Blunt Rochester (DE-AL), where he spearheaded the bipartisan Congressional Future of Work Caucus.

Ash now brings his legislative and strategic experience to the Goodfriend Group, where he will represent telecommunications, technology, media, and labor clients before Congress and the Administration.

"Earl is a natural fit for us," said Goodfriend Group President David Goodfriend, "given his background in key areas like the intersection of technology and labor, broadband access, and how technology can address social inequities. As we prepare for the incoming Biden Administration, Earl will be a key asset to our clients."

Ash received his B.A. from The Catholic University of America in Washington D.C. and served on the executive board for Congressional Black Associates during his time on Capitol Hill.

"I am very excited for what’s to come at the Goodfriend Group," said Ash. "I’m enthusiastic to join a culture that has always exhibited a commitment to connectivity and fairness. As companies and labor unions continue to explore the intersection between work and technology, I hope my expertise will add greater depth to a more inclusive ecosystem in the telecommunications sector.”
